The B.C. government is modernizing the Royal BC Museum.
The Royal BC Museum is located on the traditional territories of the Lekwungen (Songhees Nation and Xwsepsum Nation). We extend our appreciation for the opportunity to live and learn on this territory.
A modern provincial museum will tell the stories of all communities in B.C. It will improve how we preserve and protect the Royal BC Museum’s vast collections. It will also provide more access to the province’s human and natural history.
This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity. Modernizing how we preserve our past will help build a better future for everyone in B.C.
